The collation and standardisation of already available local data is a critical component of a programme that seeks to improve capacity build in the context of slope stability management in communities. The MoSSaiC management team provides an important focus for individuals and organisations to align with for the common purpose of pooling existing knowledge and experience- an important building block of capacity build.
Through the MoSSaiC management team data is being pooled relating to slope material properties, existing local research on mapping landslide risk and delivering an integrated cross-government summary of survey and mapping capability.
