Community-based landslide risk reduction St Lucia, West Indies
1. EC$700,000
A further endorsement of the MoSSaiC™ methodology was contained in the 2008-9 Government of St Lucia Budget announced in April 2008. This allows for an expenditure, from revenue, of EC$700,000 on low-cost community-based landslide risk measures.
This will be implemented by MoSSaiC in partnership with the Poverty Reduction Fund.
2. US$400,000
Funds are due to be released in 2008 from World Bank to Government of St Lucia for further implementation of the MoSSaiC™ methodology for vulnerable at risk Communities in St Lucia.
